Lost and Found : Looking for my son's lost shoe! He happened to lose it at Theodore Too this afternoon. I just bought them and naturally they are sold out in his size. These have been the only shoes that fit him perfectly. If anyone happened to pick it up or seen it. I'd love to hopefully get it back. It was a navy size 4 carters right shoe.

How can the ramp stay open?
Is the FORD Government coming after people like this?

Spotted : Shame on the man in the white truck at the Amherstburg Ribfest who went out of his way to berate me because I did not look like I had a disability as I pulled into a handicap spot at the Libro Centre. He commented twice, quite sarcastically, that he could help me get my wheelchair out of our car as he shook his head in disgust. Just because I'm not a senior citizen does not mean that I don't have a need for a handicap permit. I do my best to still enjoy life despite 17 years of chronic and increasing pain. Your ignorance, disapproval, cockiness, and chastisement was uncalled for and based solely on the fact that we were both under 50 and healthy looking as we sat in our car. Shame on you. You've been spotted.

Spotted : So this has been bothing me since Tuesday and I need to share.

My son who is 8 years old went to Lacasse Park in Tecumseh with his Respite Worker. It was their first day together after a few months of me trying to find one for him with no luck, but that's not the problem.

While they were out I received a phone call from a private name, private number, it was a police officer asking if I knew that my son was with this man This man who by the way has a police clearance in order to become a respite worker, this man who I had interviewed a week prior.
All because 3 woman noticed that my son didn't look like the man he was with, so their conclusion of the situation was that the man isn't his father, so he must be kidnapped because he's calling the man by his first name.

1st thank you for being that concerned, but 2nd please people be aware that not all children with Respite Workers are in wheel chairs, or have Autisim, or Down Syndrom, some kids have mental health issues, and hidden behaviour issues and need a Respite Worker. 3rd that man my child was with could have been an uncle, family friend, neighbor or a boyfriend of mine, because my son's father isn't around and hasn't been for 5 years.

Please when being observant, you keep all factors in mind before calling 911 and reporting things.

Spotted : I just want to wish the 71 year old Windsor star delivery driver a speedy recovery. He slipped on ice while delivering the paper in Amherstburg on February 13th, 2018. He broke his hip, but that didn't stop him from continuing his route by throwing the papers on the driveway instead of delivering to the porch before heading to the ER to be checked. This shows incredible dedication to his job and those who look forward to their paper. Sir, you have been spotted and we wish you a speedy recovery.

Spotted : I had the most horrifying thing happened today leaving Wal-Mart. My daughter was eating a candy she decided to swallow the whole thing it got stuck in her throat. They could not get it out she was gagging her face went white and purple she couldn't breathe. I didn't know what to do I was trying everything and i was screaming for help. I had a couple come running up to me trying to help but nothing was working we could not get it out of her throat. For a minute she stopped breathing, gagging and stopped moving.
This older lady came running up to us, grabbed Jordan out of his arms and gave her the baby Heimlich. If it wasn't for her who knows what would have happened! I wish I would have got her name, thank God that you showed up and saved my little girl. You are an angel in my eyes, Jordan is now home and everything is good, just have to keep an eye on her breathing. When you think you're prepared for everything and something like that happens I felt so hopeless for my child. Everything I was doing wasn't helping her, watching your child trying to breathe but can't it's the worst feeling ever. So again to this amazing lady who helped my little girl I want to say thank you so much
God bless you xoxo
Lost and Found : My beautiful nine-year-old female microchipped Siamese cat "Snowshoe" has been missing since September 11, 2016 from our home at 93 Riverview Blvd., St. Catharines Ontario. There have been no sightings. She could've been relocated anywhere. If you know someone who has acquired a new Siamese cat with her distinguishing white chin, white tipped front paws and white back legs in the last nine months, please let me know.
Spotted : I wanted to thank Trisha, from the bakery at Sobeys Amherstburg for creating the best cake ever for my daughter's birthday! She had called last week to inform me that in spite of all their best efforts, the image machine at their store would just not work and they would be unable to provide me with the image we ordered for our cake. She gave me a couple of other options of what we could do on the cake. I thanked her and said we will figure something out. I had to call back a short time later to clarify a couple of thinks and she repeatedly thanked me for being so kind and not getting mad at her. She had made several calls that day and most had not been received well. I went on a hunt for something to put on this cake and finally settled on a package of stickers I found at a dollar store. My daughter's party was dog themed, so it had to fall into that category. I took the stickers in to Tricia and she was so nice and thanked me again for being so nice and pleasant about the situation and introduced me to her coworkers as her favorite customer that was so nice about the cake. I laughed and left the stickers in her capable hands. We'll let me tell you, not only did the cake look amazing, my daughter was jumping up and down saying it was even better than the boring picture she was supposed to get and it was the best cake ever because no one will ever have one like it!
I would also like to say shame on the people that were so enraged with this poor woman that was just doing her job. She has no control over the machine and they had done everything in their power up until that point to rectify the issue. They were offering other solutions to try and accommodate the orders. My daughter cried at first when I told her, but she's a child and I would expect that reaction from a child.

The flag was raised at Dieppe Gardens as many gathered together cheering and applauding. As O' Canada echoed through the crowd, gunshots were fired as a part of Windsors 125th Birthday celebrations.
Spotted : Bruce and Alfred are 8 month old brothers born in early Sept 2016. They have been fixed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and have received flea treatments with paperwork to prove! No vet visits necessary, just take them home! They are bonded and must be kept together upon adoption. Both have an excellent temperament, calm and lots of purring. Alfred is quiet and dignified, likes to play but prefers to cuddle. Opposed by Bruce who is shy at first but always ready to chase a ball and is only ready to cuddle once tuckered out. These two are perfect for a busy household or someone who enjoys the companionship but perhaps doesn't always have time to play with cats. Bruce offers play time for Alfred and Alfred is always willing to cuddle with Bruce! This is the benefit to adopting two cats! Not as much work as one cat alone!
They are good with children and are used to being around small to medium sized dogs; I'm sure given a little time they could get used to large dogs.
Contact Nikkie 519-984-1050 or Lisette 226-975-2641 to fill out the questionnaire to ensure a good match. $40 for the pair. Serious inquiries only please

Spotted : My mom was at a party last night at the legion in Amherstburg and someone in a truck backed into her car. They left the scene and someone outside smoking got a partial of the license plate REG 10. The police have been contacted and there is over $2000 in damage. If anyone recognizes this plate please contact me. The person outside forgot to leave the colour of the truck so I'm not sure the colour, make or model. Please help me and share this post. My mom is so upset. This person hit a burgundy fusion so pending on the colour it may have rubbed off on their truck. Thanks so much 🙌🏻

Spotted : Hello everyone! I feel as if my wife and I have missed a memo regarding the new unspoken rule on speeding. Growing up (I'm 31) I was taught that everyone does 10 over the limit, driving the actual speed limit will get you tailgated and birded. We've always honored that rule but we find tailgating to be getting much worse in the last few years. Especially on 80km highways (Howard out of Windsor is really bad!!)

Just hoping to hear some opinions, is it time for us to speed up?

While going through my change a car pulled up as the lady driving it needed to retrieve her purse from her trunk. She saw us there and asked if we wanted a ride across. The lady at the bus stop said she had to wait for someone so I gave her bus fare and accepted the ride from the sweet and beautiful lady. She told me about immigrating to Canada from Mexico 20 + years ago and believed in helping others. She even drove me to where my car was parked a few blocks away.
It's so nice to see someone as sweet and caring,
Thank you Ms Mexico :)

I'm an on-call worker, and haven't been working much lately, and the avocados were basically a splurge, due to their price (but they're oh-so-yummy). I went back to the store the next day to pick up an item I forgot, and decided to check the front to see if they had a "left-behind log" for food. They did have this log, and I showed my recipe, but my avocados weren't listed. The friendly cashier said, "Just go pick out some more; you have your receipt, and I don't think that you'd come all the way back for 3 avocados if you already had them."
I worked at the same chain of grocers in the past, and I know that if the item left behind wasn't logged, the policy was that we couldn't give the customer the item. I asked if the cashier was sure, and she said, "Yes! Go ahead! If anyone stops you, I'll pay for them!"

She has no idea how much she made my day. Now I can "indulge" on avocados and not feel guilty for spending the money on something extra while not working much. Thank you so much for your kindness!!

Spotted : I was exhausted this morning but made my way to the Amherstburg Sobey's to pick up some groceries. I put $60 in my pocket and zipped it up as I wanted to get in the store quickly and didn't want to carry my purse. Somewhere along my way, it fell out of my pocket, which I didn't discover until it was time to check out. I went down each isle and retraced my steps but couldn't find it. Unfortunately I had to go back out to my car to get some more to pay, and the cashier took my name and phone number just incase someone were to have found it. Not even an hour later, an employee called to let me know a customer had found the money and turned it into customer service. I was surely shocked, but so happy that there are such good honest people out there still. You could've easily put that money in your pocket, but you didn't. I had only hoped that whoever found the money really needed it this holiday season and had let it go but you turned it around and turned it back in. So thank you! I only wish I knew who you were. Honest Shopper, you've been spotted, and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! :)

Spotted : #SpottedInWindsor

I would like to say thank you to the driver of a white van that was in line on the bridge around noon on Canada Day. My husband and I were in line at the customs booth for over an hour. When we had enough waiting and tried to switch lines this driver was the only person that was willing to let us cut in along side with the couple ahead of us.
I know this doesn't seem like a big thing but after waiting so long this act of kindness really turned our day around.
Thanks a million!
